Day Four (afternoon) - Nottingham Arena

Since we only competed in the afternoon, we didn't go to the Arena only until 2 plus. We waited for the bus for nearly half an hour! Stupid.

We came with our uniforms, and the girls in full make up for the first time. Sandra looked like as though she was going for her wedding!

Anyways, we saw some of the teams competing in our division. We were very nervous. The Americans were there. But thank God, we were not in the same divisions! We met some of the BCA staff who came to Malaysia this year and the past year. Becky (who came this year) was helping us alot. She was really nice!

Well we were nervous! The crowd went frenzy crazy went the MC announced our name. My gowd....I was so nervous.

We started off well, the intro was our best bet! I fell one stunt, the single base load. Hehehe. Jill's foot slipped from my left hand. Dame. When it was time to cheer...everyone was so quiet. I wondered why. Then I found out later, from the judges they love the way we cheered. Like Dynamitez lah...tapi tak sekuat dia orang. That is why they went silent, to listen every word. Wow!

At the end of the day after day 1, we were in second place! We got a penalty for our finale, which was nobody fault. If the pyramid went up, the penalty would have not been there. It's ok.

First day
1. Supreme Starlight 226
2. Team Allstars of Malaysia 224.5 (10 points penalty)
3. Bridgnorth Tigers 223.5
4. SC Lions 223 (10 points penalty)
5. Rhonda Rockets Sensation 220

Day Three (afternoon) - Nottingham Arena

The girls are next for the qualifying dance division. It was another nervous moment. Because it is the first time we are competing for any dance division internationally. Though we didn't use the poms like other team, I was confident the crowd will love the routine....

I was ready on the music box to cue the music, when the MC announced, "please welcome all the way from south east asia, Team Allstars of Malaysia!".....wahhhh...the stadium roared! Trumpets cheering everywhere. I was nervous. The girls came in confidently, with a choreographed moves. I love it. Hehehe...

They started with Asmaradana then a piece from a famous musical. Afterwards they dance to a remix of Britney and Missy Elliot song. We had a small cheer song, then we put in Hollaback by Gwen Steffani and ended with Boom Shack Shack Boom by the old rapper guy (I forgot his name!)

The USA judge, his name Sean, came to me and congratulate for the impressive dance. I was so happy! They should win on Sunday!

Day Three - Nottingham Arena

The day has arrive. I get to wear the new All Stars uniform to the Arena. It was a nerve wrecking morning. Went for breakfast and met other teams there. Lagi lah nervous! We took the bus with another team, while on board I saw the Americans! Gosh!....Lagi lah nervous nervous!

When we reach the stadium, we had problem of entering because we had no ID yet. Well we weren't sure at first because we don't know anyone except for Bob, BCA president. He arranged everything for us. Then, finally found out it was the organisers problem. A BIT unorganise lah. But its okay, we got in with our passes! Yahoooooo

The stadium was nice. It is not as big as Stadium Putra, but just nice for the competition. The backdrop banner was huge though. They had 2 mats, one in front where we use it for the competition, and one behind for us to warm up and so. Which was a good idea.
Our first event was the partner stunt, our first time. We don't know what to expect. We watched last years video and well, the competition is tough. We had difficulty but to make sure a clean routine was difficult. Below is the combination that we did in 1min 30 sec!
Members - Jude (Base/spotter), John (Base/spotter), Carmen (Base/spotter), Nita (Base/Flyer) and Sandra (Flyer)
Combination 1 - 180 elevator to pop over to elevator, craddle twist reload to toss (toe touch)
Combination 2 - Grin & Bear It, show extension to straight extension. Craddle to log roll and flatback.
Combination 3 - Toss (toe touch) reload 360 elevator to show kick and arebesque
Combination 4 - Front walkover to straight extension, heel stretch and scale!
WE GOT SIXTH! If not because of the walkover (it was illegal, because we can't do tumblings in this division!), which we didn't know, we could have finished in Top 3 easily! And Sandra fell in the 360 elevator. But not bad! We are happy with it!

Day Two - Nottingham University, campus, Sherwood residence

The whole was spent at the campus. We were put to stay at the Sherwood residence with a few other teams which include Heartforshire Sirens, Atlantic Angels and Reading Bunnies. We put up our Good Luck banner in the afternoon. We had our brunch, which we had to get used to for next few days. Forget Nasi Lemak, anything that is Goreng, or pedas. Its Western for the next days!

The morning right til the late afternoon was raining. Though it was not really heavy, we didn't want to risk everyone. In the middle of the campus was a wide green field, realy good to train. But we only manage to train at 8pm. It was still bright. We trained the stunt routine, which attracted a few teams dropping by watching us. I was tensioned! And nervous! We had the Katz Elite giving us a few tips. And made friends with other teams too.

Day One - London, Heathrow Airport

We touchdown at London at 6.15pm local time. The 12 hours flight took its final toll, everyone was really excited when the MAS steward announced the welcome announcement! Being the first cheerleading team to go aboard was a great feeling. I was proud of the feat.

At the check point, we had no trouble with all the passports. My first instant glance of the airport, I never thought I was in London or somewhere in Europe because most of the people were Asians (either tourists or workers at the airport). Even the lady who checked our passports was an Asian! Weird.

We assembled at a lounge where all waiting passengers lepak. Saw a few taking a nap, some reading, and some just seating and doing nothing. We had to check our bus to Nottingham at the NationalExpress counter. And bought the last bus that leaves at 12.55am

We stayed at the lounge for nearly 4 hours, just waiting and kill time. The reason we took the last bus was because we wanted to reach at Nottingham as latest as possible as our booking for accommodation was to check in only the next morning.

We arrived Nottingham Broad Marsh station at 3.15am! Nobody was at the station, except for 1-2 people who just got out of the local pubs waiting for the bus. The good thing is that the public transport in UK is 24 hours. Not like here, Intrakota and Metro buses only rides til 12midnite. We waited for another hour and left at 4.30am. We were lucky as the bus conducter was really nice to stop us at a nearer place instead of walking very far with our luggages. The walk from the stop to our campus was only less than 5 minutes.

One problem though, the office receptionist only opens at 7.30am! So we were all locked out outside the office under the very very cold weather for the next 1 and half hour! Gila! Thank god they opened much earlier, and got us into a waiting room. Really nice people.

Press Conference, a success!

Wow...the Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister's Office was really impressive with our performance today!

And he personally donated RM2000!

And guess what again?! After the Press Conference, our Advisor, had a brief discussion with him regarding our plans for the future especially regarding to the setting up of the Malaysian Official Cheerleading Association! He has agreed to be the Patron!

Whhhhuuuuuuuu.....panas!

I will update on this again.

P/s: After our UK trip, he has invited us for lunch at Putrajaya with him! Jangan jealous.
Thank you Dato'!

BCA, Here We Go!!!

So....after a gruelling 1 year and a half, tossing in our mind to compete at international level and FINALLY.....we are making our wildest dream come true!

Team All Stars will be flying off to London this Wednesday (July 27) with Malaysia Airlines, flight MH4 at 12noon. We will touchdown at London's Heathrow Airport at 6.10pm. We will then take the NationalExpress coach to Nottingham Broad Marsh station. That would be at 3am!!!! We will then wait for another bus that will ride us to the University, the competition venue and the place that we are going to stay for the next 5 days!

Competition begins on Friday with the Senior Partner Stunt at 9am. In the afternoon we have the Dance team competing in the qualifying rounds.

On Saturday, we will be on the blue mat performing our cheer routine at estimated 5.35pm. And come Sunday, the finals of all the events! I hope to bring good news here!

Please pray for the team's safety, especially at this period of time. If you read the news, you know what is happening around London and the suburbs. And hopefully, we will bring back honours for all cheerleaders in Malaysia!

NOTE:
This competition means a lot to the senior members, because it has been our dream since year 2003 to compete. And finally, we are going! We hope this new episode will create more opportunity for younger cheerleaders! So if you think this is fun, PLUS you have the commitment and dedication perhaps maybe next year you could go to UK yourself....!

Of course with us lah!

To Dream the Impossible Dream

To dream the impossible dream
To fight the unbeatable foe
To reach, the unreachable
The unreachable dream!
When we first started the group Team All Stars, we had so much to think about. Especially the directions and goals that we intend to achieve. And since all of us were the product of the BCA trainers, one would only think it would be our wildest dream to compete at the annual BCA International Cheerleading Championships.
Come next week, this wildest dream of ours will soon materialise. We will board Malaysia Airlines flight MH4 on Wednesday July 27, 2005 at 12oo hours. We are scheduled to arrive at London's Hearthrow Airport at 1810 hours.
Our trip will start then, by taking the National Express bus from the airport straight to Nottingham station. This ride will take at least 3.5 hours. We will reach the Nottingham bus station at 4am!!! whooooo
We will have the whole day to warm up with our routine, as the competition will begin on the next day (29th) with the partner stunt competition. We are sending one team (5 people), competing with 18 others. Chances of winning the Top 5......very likely. But we are more concern of perfecting the stunt routine. We have 4 combinations of stunts.....which will include:
1. Grin and Bear It - show extension - straight extension - craddle/reload - 360 log roll - flatback
2. basket toss (toe touch) - reload - 360 twist up elevator - ground up extension scorpion
3. walkover - ground up - heel stretch - scale craddle
4. pop over - elevator - twist craddle - basket toss (ball - star) - reload - ground up arabeque
We hope this combination will bring glory to our name, and Malaysia too!
I will bring a Malaysia flag.....to be put up at the Arena!
Stand up proud, Malaysia reach the Top! Yeah!

Team All Stars - the competition!

Our trip to UK end of this month would be a very important assignment. This is to prove to the many outside there who doubt our capability. Doubt "jaguh kampung" cause we only win small tournaments, which was the only competition we could compete in. If we competed at Cheer 2005, could we have won instead? Hehehe...

Anyway, the competition in UK is a stiff one. We will compete in 3 division. The first competition is the Senior Partner Stunt group. There would be 19 teams in this division. This competition only allows 3 - 5 members in a team, and we pit among each other by doing various and variety of stunts in 1.5 minutes. We target to finish in Top 3. The second division is the New Dance Squad division, where new dance team will compete with each other. In this division, there is only 3 teams including Team All Stars. We target to win. And of course the third division is the Senior Co-ed Intermediate cheer division. There are 11 teams altogether, and we have made reviews of most of the team. We expect a close fight between these 2 teams who were runners-up last year. We target to win.

The Competition and The Target

1. Senior Partner Stunt Group - Top 3 (out of 19 teams)
2. New Dance Squad Division - Top 1 (out of 3 teams)
3. Senior Co-Ed (Intermediate) Cheer Division - Top 1 (out of 11 teams)

How terrorist attacks can affect cheerleading!

THE TERRORIST attack at London's central region last Friday was a nightmare to the Englishmen, and me too! As we all know by now (if you don't, malu!), Team All Stars are in the final stage preperation for the:

British Cheerleading Association (BCA)
International Cheerleading Championships 2005
Nottingham, UK
A day after that, I had parents calling to pull-out their daughter of the trip to UK. And I had to change the flight itinerary from KL - London to KL -Manchester instead, just to feel safe and do justice for the parents who are worried sick of the situation in London now.
I had sponsors backing out, turning down offers due to the attack. &(!%@())*&#&# them lah!
So this whole week, I had no time to write here. Sorry fellow readers.
Everything is going back on track although we are short of funds already. The team's expenses has been cut short from RM80,500 to an amazing RM48,940! I myself coulnd't believe the figure. I had to cut out the expenses where it was necessary. We booked our Accommodation for 15 pax (single bed room) at the University of Nottingham, so due to the financial difficulties the team has agreed to share rooms. So we only need 8 rooms. Due to this, I manage to save RM10,000! Phew.
The next two weeks will be vital. Press Conference is on July 19 (Tuesday). Collection of Air Ticket is on Thursday, which we still lack the funds for it.
The team will be striving ahead to solicit for donations from the public. If you are part of the caring and loving society and don't mind to chip in and help this team materialise this big dream, contact me and I can forward your our donation letter.
Thanks!

Subang All Stars

Wow....ini cerita terbaru!

I read that the Subang schools (especially SMK Seafield, Subang Utama) will be forming a new team comprising of cheerleaders from various school! Hmmm....

To me it is good news! I like. I hope whoever started with this idea, will continue and pursue with the Subang All Stars team! But one thing I would like to remind him/her, it is never that easy to combine members from different teams. It takes a whole lot of patience and determination. But this is for the good of the sport!

At least Subang All Stars can join the ranks like Team All Stars from MOCHA and also CHARM All Stars. Maybe in the next few years we have a PJ All Stars and Ampang All Stars. Afterwards, then perhaps the organisers for the Cheer competition can open up a new category that is: All Stars division! Just like in the US of A.

Yay!

T-HOP Dance Master Challenge 2005

Sungei Wang Plaza is organising a dance competition in conjunction with the Merdeka month celebration. This competition will be held every Sunday in the month of August.

If you wish to sign up your cheer/dance team, here are some rules.

A Rude Awakening

Cheer 2005 saw a new chief taking over the cheerleading territory in Malaysia. To all of you, we have to bow our heads and welcome Dynamitez in the scene. Finally, after 3 years of waiting they got what they wanted. The trophy making its first journey to Damansara Jaya, PJ.

The challenge trophy has never went aboard the Kuala Lumpur territory yet. As SBU and CBN has won it in between for 5 years, I guess it was due time for the trophy to make her maiden visit to other states.

To SBU (particularly the Shirtliff and Maclay team), this 2005 episode is an eye opener. There is no more the intense rival between SBU and CBN. Obviously, I myself could not see the intense screaming between the fans. This was because other schools brought in their bus-loads of fans too. ie. Blitzers from SMK Bandar Utama Damansara (4). 5 busses!

I am in somber mood. Maclay was not even placed in the Top 15. An ugly chapter which I personally would like to erase immediately. I don't know what is in the heads of the both captains at this moment, but what I know is I will be at SMK Seri Bintang Utara next year from day 1 until the competition day.

It was an embarrasing moment when none of the prized winner were from SBU. I know all the supporters and teachers were dejected. Within 20 minutes, I saw the SBU seating area emptied. Leaving the spirits banner still tangled, red and blue poms all over the places. It was a sad scenenary.

Shirtliff, bounce back next year. Your routine is always entertaining, perhaps the year 2005 is not your year. What you girls can do now is start training your basics again. Strengthen your stunting skills to a better level. And perhaps, just don't design the same uniform again.
(FYI, the same design uniform was also wore in 2002 when Shirtliff lost to Xavier. How ironic?!)

Notice to ALL cheer-lings!

Cheerleaders and all readers of the blog,

Thank you for your attentive and support for updating and reading at this blog. My sole purpose is to just add variety in our cheerleading scene. At least you (cheerleaders) can log on and click this page whenever you feel bored.

FYI, all writings on this page is purely for reading and entertainment. It is not to condemn or hurt any individuals or cheerleading teams. Gossips are meant to be written. And the best part, Sorak Malaysia is purely cheerleading stories and writings.

If you have anything to share, or perhaps want to announce your teams performances/ shout outs to your cheermates on her/his birthday etc...you can email me at: judebenjamin@yahoo.com

Cheers, and remember:
Cheer All Out, OR Don't Cheer At All!

The Top 15 Review

Top 15 Result

1. Dynamitez of SMK Damansara Jaya (232.5 + 256 = 488.5)
2. Blitzers of SMK Bandar Utama Damansara (4) (222 + 238 = 460)
3. Vulcanz All-Boys of SMK Seafield (221 + 234.5 = 455.5)
4. Shirtliff of SMK Sri Baintang Utara (223.5 + 226 = 449.5)
5. Xavier of SMK Convent Bukit Nanas (204 + 232 = 436)
6. Titans of SMJK Ave Maria Convent Ipoh (199.5 + 230.5 = 430)
7. Adele of SMK Convent Bukit Nanas (207.5 + 213.5 = 421)
8. Vulcanz All-Girls of SMK Seafield (192.5 + 223 = 415.5)
9. Zircon of SMK Subang Utama (193 + 201 = 394)
10. E-Lektra of SMJK Ave Maria Convent Ipoh (190 + 193.5 = 383.5)
11. D’Starz of SMK (P) Sri Aman (171 + 193.5 = 364.5)
12. Shewanaz of Sekolah Sri Garden (164 + 199 = 363)
13. Valkyries of SMK SS17 Subang Jaya (162 + 199.5 = 361.5)
14. Cyrens of Sekolah Sri KL (174 + 181.5 = 355.5)
15. Sellors of SMK St Mary (147 + 206.5 = 353.5)

My comment:
Overall, I am okay with the result. Though (no offense) I am quite not happy with the points graded for E-Lektra and Vulcanz All-Girls. Zircon and D'Starz could have been better, perhaps the infractions made all this changes. So I can't say much. To Shirtliff, Xavier and most of all Maclay, let us learn from the mistake and bounce back next year!

The Lamest Thing(s) That Happened at Putra!

Everyone was celebrating the 6th edition of cheer competition, than again there were a few things that made it so so....lame!

1. The Walking Banner
As we know, Hollaback song was the most played song that day...and ironically we have a team competing also calling themselves Hollaback. How original?! But the nice thing (at first), was the Hollaback's banner going around the stadium....it was fetch! But after like 3 hours, those 2 guys were still going around and displaying it...like...HELLO? Can you take a break?

2. Guards
All the security guards every year suck! Dah lah tak pandai memahami situasi, pandai je tengok skirt pendek and maki hamun kat orang! Its unprofessional and really annoying!

3. Supporters and Teachers Quarelling
This issue will never be solved, ever. Perlu sekolah ni berebut dengan sekolah ni pasal tempat duduk! I think first come first serve was the right attitude and NOT when you book the entire place and your supporter datang like 10 mins before the show! Stewpeeeek.

4. Show-offs...
We do have intervals in between performances of each team. The most annoying thing is seeing the same person to the floor doing it all over again. Whatever it is, it is really lame. Kalau sekali ke dua kali ke okay jugak. Ni, sampai gift beg from Clean & Clear satu guni dia dapat! Ish!

5. Cheerleaders
It is so annoying when after they perform, they get back to their seats and starts doing an orgy "crying".....ya'allah! Next year, the organisers should have a special room for performers after they perform to advance to that particular room and cry! Nobody wants to see other dramas except the ones on the blue mat!

6. Teams who never learn from mistake!
This is the 6th year and again, there is this team or two who never never improved at all! Malu betul. Mistake yang sama diulang every year. I don't understand why do they brag during the interviews, and then perform like s**t!

Cheer 2005 (Day II / Finals) Review

Hmmm....you read my post for Day I review, and see who are my Top 5 prediction? Eventually, all this 5 teams actually finished in Top 5! Hmmm....

Champion: Dynamitez
1st Runner Up: Blitzers
2nd Runner Up: Vulcanz All-Boys
4th: Shirtliff
5th: Xavier

Overall, the competition was really an intense affair. Although I already knew that Dynamitez would win, it was a matter of time and waiting for Joey G to announce it officially. The DJ girls obviously deserve this win. After finishing runners-up for 2 consecutive years, it was high time and well, congrats to Khing Wei (her fifth year and last year!) the DJ captain who went through all the gutsy drama and overcome all tidal waves...she prove everyone wrong! Good Job. My favorite part in the routine was the Intro and also your stunts. Sorry, didn't like the Finale pyramid!

Blitzers - thunderous applause to this new team! Also two-thumbs-up to Carolyn Au for her admiration and dedication. BU(4) girls, you proved that even newer teams can be as good as the veterans! Next year perhaps you might just give the DJ a good fight! P/s: Your supporters are wild!

Vulcanz All Boys - They could have won the competition easily...if the routine was cleaner! Although stunting wise, we all know boys are way better and stronger in this section the dance and motions could have done justice. But to compare them to last year, the boys have improved by leap and bounds. What they should do now is probably concentrate on toughing up the motions and cheers.....and of course dance! Then again, GOOD JOB to Chee Wei! I'm proud of u!

Xavier - Hmmmm....I am really happy with the CBN girls. Although some might not like them using old cheers, but as one of their fan I think it is fetch! Using old cheers, but putting new stuff in it is wicked! Memang semangat! I love your....Eeeeegoya cheer. Stunting wise can be improve. Expect a thougher Xavier next year, as they are still young. Captain only 14yo!

Shirtliff - Perhaps, this is not Shirtliff's year. I know it is heartbreaking, but we all have to accept the fact that all teams has become better and better. Shirtliff should concentrate on toughen up their tumbling skills. Stunting wise, though you girls have the best ideas but to hit it you need to practice even more! I am always a fan of Shirtliff. I hope for next year, they will bounce back and make the stadium go ga-ga!

My other congrats to the TWO Ave Maria Convent Ipoh teams for bringing back 2 titles. I am sorry though to Titans that they did not make it to Top 3! Perhaps get a new coach?! Hehehe.

Shewanaz, girls I am so proud of you! Your scorpion extension menjadi! And 2 suicede langsung tak jatuh! You are my inspiration! Good Job!

The Most Improving Team(s)

I always look our for every Cheer edition to see how have we advance ourselves in this sport. I am really glad to see improving teams this year.

1. Blitzers from SMK BU4
Last year, they finished 8th overall losing out to the only boys team in the fray for the Best Newcommer title. And looking at the routine today, they were really 150% better than last year. Kudos to coach Carolyn Au for her dedication. Basically the choreography was really enjoying.

2. D'Starz from SMK (P) Sri Aman
This bunch of Sri Aman girls has finally manage to get out of the black hole. After watching them in 2003 & 2004, I asked myself when would they realise how to choreograph and use thier talents in the routine. Today, they just hit the right note! The stunts are really quite stable, and of course the difficulty has gone up! Good Job!

3. Zircon from SMK Subang Utama
Green, Red and White! Go Zircon FIGHT!
This team can spring a surprise or two tomorrow! I am really proud of my team-mate, John Lim who has coached them for the past 2 years. Zircon has been one of the newcommers that we should look out for in the future.

4. Shewanaz from Sri Garden
Green and Gold! Shewanaz, you make me proud today! Your stunt hit well, and your dance transition is great. Love it. Asmaradana intro...hmmmmm...

Cheer 2005 (Day I) Review

Guess everyone has already seen everything. From the Vulcanz (all boys) team to Shirtliff's ala phantom ophera intro and also Dynamitez near perfect routine.

As you would still remember, the teams I have bet on performed to their best today. Maybe except for 1-2 teams, the rest impressed me. Though the Top 15 leading teams today is not as I expected.

The current leading Top 15 (in no particular order)
Adele
Blitzers
Cyrens
Dynamitez
D'Starz
E-Lectra
Hollaback
Muriels
Shewanaz
Shirtliff
Titans
Valkyries
Vulcanz (all boys)
Vulcanz (all girls)
Xavier

The biggest surprise is the not inclusion of Maclay, Zircon and Sellors in Top15! Basically, during the managers/coach-judge meeting and briefing, most of the teams had major infractions. Some amounted to 55 points! The obvious one is inadequate spotting, and stood on props.

Who are my favorites for the title tomorrow?
1. Vulcanz (all boy)
2. Dynamitez
3. Blitzers
4. Shirtliff
5. Xavier

Saturday, July 02, 2005

What happen to Maclay?

Maclay, Maclay...the biggest disappointment of the day. The Intro started really well, only until the cheer section when the Scale stunt did not hit...seemed all members lost their concentration. Maclay had major infractions in the routine, which I think should have not happen.

There is still tomorrow, to showcase the routine. My personal suggestion is that Maclay should go on a clean basic routine. Focus on where they can master. Learn from all the infractions.

If they had forgo all infractions, Maclay could have had been in Top 15. But sadly, they are not.

I want to grab the trophy!

1.How desperate am I to win the trophy this year?
Very desperate!

2. Which team are you coaching this year?
Maclay and Shewanaz.

3. What are your targets for both teams?
Maclay (Champion) and Shewanaz (Top 6).

4. Who would be your closest rival for both teams?
Maclay - Shirtliff, Vulcanz (Boys) and Xavier.
Shewanaz - Cyrens, Sellors and Zircon.

5. What are both teams strength this year?
Maclay - Attempting a back/front elevator and 360 elevator turn. Finale, heel-stretch all extension pyramid. Besides, having 4 extensions and also toss / shows.
Shewanaz - 3 show liberties, 2 suicide and 1 extent scorpion. No toss.

6. My final say....
If none of both teams achieve their target, I will be still alright (although a little upset) and happy for those who wins. There is always the next year. I have receive an invitation to coach Titans Ipoh next year. Perhaps, maybe my good luck charm would be with them. Hmmmmm

Perangai Over...Nampak Desperate!

All Malaysian cheerleaders are now in high fever...the 6th annual national high school cheerleading championship is just hours away. Knowing that most teams has already reduce their training regime, especially on the last day. Dynamitez are having their Good Luck dinner tonight. Shewanaz having a team sleapover bonding thing. Shirtliff staying at Palace of Golden Horses. Maclay...at one of the teams members huge house. Xavier..? Entah.

Anyway, I meluat sikit dengan perangai member satu team ni. Tahulah desperate nak menang this year but there is no point of showing off your pictures online and memuji diri sendiri! That is so like blowing your own trumpet when your audience are all.....vomitting...looking at your unprofessional attitude! This team memang attention seeker konon, and dengar khabar the whole squad is racist. No offense. This is not from me, but from a student who hails from the same school. Dia mention, masa pergi audition memang gerenti bangsa yang lain dari seniors memang takkan dapat masuk no matter how good you are.

I don't know whether it is true or not, but when I look at the line up of BOTH teams...memaing itu benar! Semua member dia same race. I mean, takkan lah bangsa yang lain kat sekolah dia tu tak sehebat mane? This is just inquiring, bukan tuduhan.

CHEER 2005, Here We Go!

Huhuhu...it is finally time again...everyone clad in their school colours! I will be in my Cheer All Out tees, to market our t-shirt! Yikes!

Anyways, I missed the clinic. My first doing so, though Im a cheer-freak....couldn't resist as I was still figuring out and finishing up Shewanaz routine. Though it is sad for the team as we couldn;t show it to judges and fine tune the routine. It is ok. Shewanaz has the simplest routine. So no worries of that, as long they hit everything right and not get infractions.

Talking about that issue, I can bet that on the first day every team will be getting a minor infraction. Perhaps at least 5 points lah! Unless the routine is very2 simple and such. Lucky for the team who gets a full point! That would be big advantage!

So who am I betting for the crown....?

1. Vulcanz (All Boys)
2. Shirtliff

I would also keep my fingers on.....

1. Maclay
2. Dynamitez
3. Xavier
4. Adele
5. Titans
6. E-Lektra
7. Zircon

I have seen Shirtliff's routine. Seriously, something I am proud of. These bunch of SBU girls are a very determine lot. Not an easy task to be a defending champion...knowing the fact some other teams are desperate to grab that trophy too (especially Dynamitez and Vulcanz - I know how badly you want the trophy!).

I know what Adele's going to do. Especially one stunt. Hmmmm...boleh tahan.

Titans?! What happen?....Aiyo, I had so much of expectation and you girls just blew it away. I hope this one week gives you a big deal and improve on the routine.

E-Lektra...I have no further comment. Thier routine is basically very simple, but very neat. Think of Green from SBU in 2002.

Oh, Maclay. Dah lah tak pergi clinic. I know one stunt is really gempak and hopefully it will hit and rock the stadium! Their intro is the best so far by any other Maclay team (2001, 2003 , 2004).

Zircon...whooooooooo...the most pressured team, I think. Many giving high hopes on them. I hope they will hit their "!@)@!" stunt! Good Job, and Good Luck!
John, you have been a great inspiration.

Team All Stars would like to wish all cheerleaders, ALL THE BEST!
Look out for us in our CHEER ALL OUT t-shirts. We are selling it for RM 25 (partly raising funds for our UK trip!)

p/s: on Sunday, we all sing Gemilang with Jac okay! Hahaha
